Since moving to LA, I've started going to the Venice Beach Gold's Gym. This is THE original Gold's Gym, the one that was featuring in the movie "Pumping Iron" and Arnold Schwarzenegger went to! Next to Muscle Beach, the men and women there are just crazy - perfectly tan and toned. The women especially can be intimidating, with a mix of female body builders and makeup wearing wanna be actresses.

I know I'm not out of shape and have been called a gym rat more than once in my life... but it's still a little disheartening to hit the gym lately! The cure? New workout clothes of course!

I'm not sure how I came across this athletic wear store, Carbon38, Facebook ad maybe? But I am totally in love with their super cute printed leggings and cool girl tops and I must have it all! Prices could be a bit better though... sigh.

Abercrombie & Fitch - For Cool Kids Only?

When I first heard that Abercrombie &Fitch CEO had said his stores didn't sell XL or XXL sizes to keep the not so cool kids from wearing their clothing... I was honestly more confused than enraged. I really thought we had moved past only size zero kids being in the "in crowd!" Sure the athletic kids tended to be cool, but in my high school being an XL and being popular was not mutally exclusive by any means.

Even MTV knows bitchy cheerleaders come in all sizes!

In the end I was like, whatever, I don't shop there and, if they manage to still exist years in the future, I will not let my kids shop there.

But one man proved more could be done, in the most hilarious way possible! He scoured his local thrift shop for all the A&F clothing and donated them all to the homeless! I'm all about making this a thing, hahah.

Make a Spring Break Splash

Now I'm much too old to be going on spring break, but I am heading to Hawaii for a few days this month! It's for work, but perhaps I can squeeze in some time in the sun? Now what to pack...

Um, absolutely LOVE Mossimo's mix and match pieces! I've been hesitant to mix up bikinis before, but everything really seems to just easily go together. I like the idea of pairing this peppermint striped triangle top with this magenta skirtini!! You know me - go big or go home, ahahah!

Add in a cute, blingy cover-up, some fun glitter sunnies and chic sandals -- toss it all in a fab Prabal Gurung for Target tote (if only I'd managed to snag one) and I'll be ready to hit the beach!

Target Spring Fling

I'm tres excited to be working with Target to feature fab spring fashion! After all, they have become almost synonymous with "budget chic" with great designer collaborations and cute brands of their own! I have a killer faux suede jacket people die over, and they're shocked to see it's Mossimo!

Shoppable videos?? The future is here! I love the trends they highlight, which are wearable and easy to incorporate into your wardrobe. I've got to say I'm now coveting:

A floral anorak for just $40? This piece is just plain epic and would look amaze over a flippy dress and some tall boots!

Polka dot pants are super fetch - I'm wearing a pair right now! This minty pair would look killer with a navy sweater and cute wedges. Buy for just $25.

My favorite trend for spring? Acid pastel fluoresce! This ombre sweatshirt fits perfectly with the emerging trend of sporty comfort. Plus it's only $18!

Duro Olowu for jcp

Yay Duro Olowu for jcp is available today! You may not have heard of Duro Olowu before, but let me tell you it is one of the most popular, impossible to get into shows at NYFW.

The pieces are very bright, tribal summer-esque, and include dresses, shoes, jewelry and more! Prices are super affordable too, most items are under $50 and I don't see anything more than $100! I wish I wasn't so broke, I would definitely go on a spree today!

Derek Lam for Kohl's

A new designer collaboration in the works - Derek Lam for Kohl's! I've heard a lot of good things about their Rock & Republic collab, so I'm very much anticipating this one! Coming in April, prices range from $44 to $88 and there are a ton of pieces: dresses, separates and swimwear in various colors and prints.

Plus Size Store: eloquii

eloquii is the plus sized sister of The Limited, making it a perfect place to find chic, affordable clothing in sizes 14 to 24! Lots of figure flattering options, mostly classic but are still a bit stand out and fun, my only complaint is that there's just not enough of it!

Sneakpeeq Mystery Boxes

I came home recently to a lovely surprise - a gift from sneakpeeq! The online store fetures independent brands in fashion, beauty, food and home. They have started a new program - Mystery Boxes, where you purchase a box full of fabulous goodies for $29 but could be worth anywhere from $60 to up to $500!!

I received the Holiday Glam Girl box, which had some awesome items - lotion, two pieces of jewelry, some lash conditioning treatment and a mat to rest hair styling products on! I don't know about you, but my toilet and sink have little burns all over them so this was a huge win for me.

I just got the word that Target & Neiman Marcus will produce a 2012 holiday collection in December! The more than 50 limited edition items will be priced from just $8 to $500 and will feature pieces by Tory Burch, Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Alice + Oliva, Rag & Bone and more!
